Hey lovely people!

I'm Bec, the brains (and sometimes overwhelmed mind) behind Gee & Me! As a primary school teacher heading onto maternity leave and the new adventure of mum life, I couldn't help but hatch an idea that would let me keep me busy while embracing the chaos of parenthood 💭

And thus, Gee & Me was born – my passion project born out of a desire to go beyond the pages of a book and dive into activities that make literature come alive for kids and their families! With my background in education, I know firsthand just how crucial reading is, especially from a young age. So why not sprinkle some extra magic on top?

Maternity leave was a whirlwind of anticipation, waiting for Gee's grand entrance into the world, and let me tell you, focusing on this project during those midnight feeds was a lifesaver! Who knew brainstorming activities could be so therapeutic at 3 a.m.?

Now, as I ease back into the world of work, I'm realizing the importance of having something just for me – and the best part? It's all about reading with Gee, my little sidekick. We're both hooked on books, and there's nothing quite like sharing that love with her.
